Not punny at all. Anyways, a somewhat nontraditional post about an upcoming camping trip in Southeastern Idaho and a thank you to all the lovely people that follow our story and Maisa…..
Join Us for a Special Camping Trip Honoring Maisa and Maisa Space!
Let's gather under the stars to celebrate and remember Maisa or just commune with the dirt!
We've reserved a fantastic group campsite (we think it is fantastic, but actually haven’t been there) at the beautiful East Shore Mountain Fawn Campground (Site #101) on the stunning shores of Bear Lake, and we'd love for you to be there. Or not. We love you either way.
When: Saturday, June 28th - Tuesday, July 1st, 2025
Where: East Shore Mountain Fawn Campground, Site #101 Bear Lake State Park, Idaho
This will be a wonderful opportunity to connect, share stories, see stars, enjoy the great outdoors, and honor the spirit of Maisa and the community fostered by Maisa Space. Imagine lakeside views, evenings around the campfire, and creating new memories together (or alone).
Campsite Details: Our group site, #101, offers a great base for our gathering. The campground typically provides amenities such as restrooms, picnic tables, and fire rings. We have room for a few more RV’s and around 9 vehicles at this group site for tent camping.
What to Bring: Please come prepared with your own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, etc.), food, and personal supplies. Though we might have a few extra items. We encourage a collaborative spirit, so feel free to coordinate with others on shared items if you wish!
RSVP: Kindly let us know if you can make it by June 25th so we can get a headcount and share any further details or coordination plans. You can reply to this invitation or contact here on Substack or contact@maisaspace.org. Or let us know that you are thinking about it.
We anticipate a weekend filled with warmth, remembrance, and the joy of community in a beautiful natural setting. Come for a night or the whole time. Or just think about Maisa. That is cool too.
