I have always said that I am the keeper of Ruby’s memories, and her only voice. 💖 I also used to put notes in lunches 💖 a tiny bit of love for a struggling kid to find in the middle of a hard day. 💖
Maisa had such a hard time at lunch. She was often alone or excluded and overwhelmed in the loud cafeteria. She would prefer to eat outside but typically not permitted to eat outside. And of course there is little to no recourse for this kind of subtle bullying and exclusion that happens. And almost zero understanding or accommodation of the sensory overwhelm.

This just punches me in the gut. What you are going through as we know is the worst already, but to make it harder? I am so so sorry. Xoxo
Thank you dear friend. It certainly compounds the pain and trauma. So much love to you. xoxo
